Georgia County Snapshots
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs started publishing "Georgia County Snapshots" in 1994, using data collection and analysis of many state and federal agencies.  It provides brief descriptions of the state's 159 counties, covering each county’s history, people, economy, and government in a single publication.  There is also an overview of the State of Georgia.

Old Farmer's Almanac
"Since 1792, The Old Farmer's Almanac has published useful information for people in all walks of life: tide tables for those who live near the ocean; sunrise tables and planting charts for those who live on the farm; recipes for those who live in the kitchen; and forecasts for those who don't like the question of weather left up in the air.  The Almanac, North America's oldest continuously published periodical, comes out every year in September."
World Almanac and Fact Book
World Almanacs, a GALILEO resource dating back to first publication in 1868, is a reference database that covers arts and entertainment, U.S. cities and states, people in the news, the nations of the world, sports, the environment, vital statistics, science and technology, computers, taxes and much more.  A GALILEO password may be required when you are off campus.

GPO Access
U.S. Government Printing Office offers access to the Constitution, the Code of Federal Regulations, the Federal Register, congressional documents, Supreme Court decisions and more.

Georgia Laws
Official Code of Georgia Annotated- This standard source for the laws of Georgia is part of the Lexis-Nexis database. To search it, go to the library's homepage to access it within Galileo.
Laws of the United States
United States Code Annotated- The subject matter of all general and permanent laws is arranged into 50 broad subject areas as part of the GPO Web site. Also see Swilley Library's database, HeinOnline for U.S. Statues at Large.
Supreme Court Decisions
Full Text opinions of all Supreme Court Cases since 1790 are within  Lexis Nexis. , a GALILEO database.

Thomas Legislative Information
