Guidelines for Borrowing
Check the library catalog for the book first. Use the 'Request' button in the online catalog to get books from other Mercer libraries (except Medical and Law). To expedite your request, please fill out this form as completely as possible. Absence of any information may delay your request.
Arrival Time, Pick Up & Return
Range is from 1 to 3 weeks. Ten days is average although it may take less time if we are able to find an item locally. Pick up items at the circulation desk. You will be notified of their arrival. Return books to the Swilley Library Circulation Desk.
Due Dates & Fines
This varies from library to library. The range is 10 days to 3 weeks. We have no control over due dates. They are controlled by the lending library. The fine for overdue books is $1 per day with no grace period.
Renewals
If you must renew an item, please call ILL at (678) 547-6291 or Circulation (678) 547-6284. If the renewal is denied, ILL will contact you. Otherwise the book is considered renewed and due on the requested date.
