BORROWING PRIVILEGES

A faculty ID is required. Faculty may check out a maximum of 30 books with a loan period of 90 days. Items may be renewed over the telephone. Faculty will be billed for books lost or not returned for renewal; however, there are no overdue fines.

PROXY BORROWERS

Faculty and academic staff may authorize another user as a proxy to check out library materials in their name. A completed application is required. Contact the Circulation Desk for additional information.

LIBRARY INSTRUCTION REQUEST

To request that a reference librarian come to your class for a library instruction, please call the Reference Desk at 678-547-6282

RESERVES

Instructors may place copies of course related articles, books, videotapes, old exams, lecture notes, or other materials on reserve. Borrowing limits range from 1 hour to 7 days with no renewals. Electronic reserves are available 24/7.

The library will request copyright permission on behalf of faculty for requests that do not fall within fair use guidelines. The library will assume the cost of royalties up to $10/request. Faculty are responsible for charges over $10/request.

FACULTY CARRELS

The Library has nine faculty carrels available for research or other activities requiring close access to library materials. Carrels are assigned for an academic quarter and may be renewed if there is not a waiting list. Print request form and deliver it to the Circulation Desk (requires Adobe Reader).
