Mobile Micromedex

Follow these steps to download Thomson Clinical Xpert to your handheld PDA.

Mercer Atlanta's Customer Number is:  650600001
Step 1:    Copy (Select Ctrl C) or make a note of the customer number (above). You will be asked for this number on the download site.
Step 2:    Go to http://clinicalxpert.thomsonhc.com.swilley-proxy.mercer.edu to register and download clinical information.

Iowa Drug Information Service (IDIS)

Search the IDIS database over the internet with your PDA.  Just use the IDIS link. (Required password can be found here.)

Pubmed

Search Pubmed over the internet with your PDA.  Use this text version link.

PocketConsult (from MD Consult)

To access PocketConsult, you need to create a personal login to MDConsult. 

  1. Go to GaIN at http://gain.mercer.edu, (Requires password) and click on MDConsult. 
  2. Create an account.
  3. Read "Why Create an Account."
  4. On MD Consult homepage, click on "Pocket Consult" and follow directions.

PIER (Physician Information and Education Resource) PDA

Go to GaIN (requires password) and click on PIER PDA instructions.
