Mission Statement
Special Collections for the Cecil B. Day Campus of Mercer University consists of two distinct classes of materials, rare and special books and other printed materials and campus archives. The Special Collections Department exists to organize, preserve, and house the heritage of the Cecil B. Day Campus, and, when needed, make these collections accessible. These collections shall be used to support research, exhibitions, outreach, and publications.

- Mercer University Atlanta, 1972-present
- Cecil B. Day Campus, Mercer Atlanta, 1990-present
- Southern School of Pharmacy, 1903-present
- McAfee School of Theology, 1996-present
- Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, 1902-present

Policies and Procedures
1.) No one is allowed in the Special Collections Room without a staff member present.
2.) Material in the Special Collections Room can be viewed only in
the Special Collections Room.
3.) Anyone needing material located in the Special Collections
Room needs to set an appointment with the librarian/archivist during
regular library hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
