Special Exhibit: Masks Around the World

Masks Around the World

by Diane Scott

Come experience a visual wonder of masks from the continents of Africa, Asia and North America.

The masks represent the ceremonial traditions of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Inuit of Alaska, Cote d'Ivoire, China, and Sri Lanka.

See the mask of the Chinese God who predestines the fate of mortals, as well as the healing mask of Ceylon.

The exhibit is open to the public and on display in the foyer of the Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library.
