How to Find a Journal Article

Index searching is the best way to find journal articles, and there are several indexes from which to choose. Some of the indexes contain some full-text articles. You will probably want to search the ATLA Religion Database first. This database contains journal articles as well as essays (chapters in books) and book reviews.

If the article that you need is not available full-text, go to the Journals & Databases page and search for the journal title. This database will indicate if the journal you need is available in paper or microform format in the Swilley Library or if it is available full-text in another database.
